Give Hope To A Child

Do you know……..Tragically, 75 million primary-school-age children are not in school. One reason? Without the money for basic education supplies like pencils and paper, children from developing countries are often turned away from school because they can’t fully participate.

In Ethiopia, Shelma missed a whole year of school because his parents didn’t have enough money to buy his school materials. “I could not go to school,” he recalls. “I was so sad I was crying.” Shelma wasn’t alone, as fewer than half the children in Ethiopia receive an education.

Thankfully, our  education programs provided the books and other class materials Shelma needed. Today he’s back in school and pursuing his dream of becoming a teacher. “I feel much stronger now,” says Shelma. “I [have] hope for my future.”

Education is the road that children follow to reach their full potential in life.

Yet many children in need around the world do not get a quality education where they can learn and develop. To advance learning, we support education programs in collaboration with world’s top child support organizations such as “Save the Children”, “SOS Children's Villages”, “World Vision” for children in the classroom and at home.
